Who is responsible for the service

My ITP Journey is operated by My ITP Journey LLC, a Michigan limited liability company. In this policy, “My ITP Journey,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to My ITP Journey LLC.

What My ITP Journey collects

When you choose to enter it, My ITP Journey stores account identity, profile information, ITP symptoms, photos, medications, appointments, questions, emergency-plan notes, and limited subscription information such as your plan status and Stripe customer identifier. The service also records when a confirmed account first enters the app and when it was most recently active.

How information is used

Your information is used to provide your private journal, generate summaries you request, maintain account security, and operate the service. My ITP Journey does not sell health information and does not use it for targeted advertising.

The owner dashboard uses aggregate counts to understand signups, onboarding, recent participation, plan adoption, and overall feature usage. It does not display the contents of symptoms, photos, platelet readings, medications, appointments, or wellness entries.

The site also counts page views, anonymous visitors, and account-creation steps so we can understand whether people can find and use the service. This measurement uses random identifiers stored in your browser and broad page names. It does not store IP addresses, email addresses, health-journal content, search terms, or full referring links. Browser Do Not Track settings are respected.

Who can access it

Your journal is separated by your signed-in account. Service infrastructure providers may process information only as needed to operate the site. Information may also be disclosed when legally required or when you deliberately download or share a summary.

Plus members may deliberately create a read-only care-team link. The link contains a snapshot of selected journal history, uses a long random address, omits symptom photos, expires automatically, and can be revoked from the Plus dashboard. Anyone who receives an active link can view that snapshot, so members should send it only to people they trust.

Payments

Stripe processes Plus subscription payments for My ITP Journey LLC. We receive subscription status and billing identifiers needed to provide or end Plus access, but do not receive or store your complete card number. Stripe handles payment information under its own privacy terms.

Retention and your choices

Your records remain until you delete individual items or erase your journal. The Account page lets you download a copy of your data and permanently delete journal records and uploaded photos. Deleting journal data also removes reminders and revokes stored care-team links. It does not automatically delete the separate email sign-in identity; you may request complete account deletion on the account-deletion page or by emailing support@myitpjourney.com.

Security and incidents

My ITP Journey uses authenticated access, encrypted web connections, private-by-default records, ownership checks, and limited data collection. No system is risk-free. If a reportable health-data incident occurs, affected users and regulators will be notified as required.

Children

A child under 13 may not use the service and may not have a profile. During the Guardian Mode private beta, an adult parent or legal guardian may create and manage a separate journal for a teen age 13–17. The guardian remains the only account holder and controls the teen profile, records, photos, downloads, sharing, and deletion. The teen does not receive an independent login. The guardian must certify their authority and consent before creating the profile.
